About us
The Organization is a
civil society organization, a Non Governmental Organization in short NGO. The
Organization is a nonprofit and shall be a political and shall be free from all
discriminatory innuendoes of gender, creed, colour, ethnical affiliations and
others. Registration No: 00NGO/00003075
CEDO objectives.
Accordingly,
CEDO aims to:-
1. Promote environmental and
ecological conservation /regeneration.
2. Improve community
capabilities to access basic socio economic and life sustaining essentials.
3. Promote social and
economic equity of communities.
4. Promote human development
amongst communities.
5. Promote and develop
sustainable agricultural strategies
Responsibilities.
In meeting its objectives,
CEDO undertakes to institute such operational strategies as:
1. To promote participatory
involvement of communities for determining their affairs in the relative socio
economic developmental issues.
2. To sensitize communities
and create awareness on the problem of poverty and existing opportunities for
its eradication.
3. To improve opportunities
for communities to access basic life sustaining essentials (-viz. food, clean/ safe water etc.) and other
human development essentials –(viz. health, education , social wellbeing,etc. )
4. To serve as network link
between resource poor communities and market outlets and resources sources.
Cooperation
1. For achieving its
objectives and in fulfilling its responsibilities, CEDO will cooperate with the
government and government agencies.
2. CEDO will similarly
cooperate with other Non Governmental Organizations and the like organizations,
at home and outside, who are interested and who foster similar and allied
motives.
3. CEDO shall develop and
promote relationship with civil community representatives in social, economic
and other related matters
Mission Statement.
CEDO is established
with the main and primary purpose to assist in poverty eradication amidst civil
communities – through improving their human capabilities to access basic socio
economic requirements, and enhancing their income generating capacities to
access socio economic needs.
